Sharon Loyd has more than three decades of experience in the legal industry. She began her career in Oklahoma City, and her background includes banking, auto dealerships, contracts, personal injury, bankruptcy, property tax, employment, estate planning, dram shop, municipal law, appellate law, products liability, toxic tort, construction, commercial and insurance defense.

As a member of Gray Reed’s litigation team, Sharon supports attorneys in all phases of litigation, from inception to resolution. Her work includes drafting answers, reviewing and organizing documents, preparing pleadings, managing discovery requests and responses, coordinating document production and assisting with depositions, hearings, mediations and trial preparation.

When I Feel Most At Home
  • Being an independent rescuer. I've rescued Great Barred Owls, Great Blue Herons, a baby Bobcat, a Coyote, Calves, Horses, birds, dogs, cats, turtles, the occasional tadpoles (born without consent in my pool), and dragonflies who flew too low for a drink, oh, and a crawdad
  • Volunteering with the Dallas SPCA and several other 501c3 non-profits
