Abbey Jennings
Associate

I approach every matter with care and attention, ensuring that the legal process aligns with what’s truly important to our clients.

Abbey Jennings joined Gray Reed in 2025 after serving as a Summer Associate with the firm in 2024. During her summer experience, she worked alongside the firm's healthcare and real estate attorneys, gaining practical experience in contract drafting, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and client counseling.

During her time at SMU Dedman School of Law, Abbey developed strong research, writing, and analytical skills, particularly as an Associate Editor for the SMU Law Review and a faculty research assistant. Abbey gained hands-on experience through SMU's Corporate Counsel Externship Program, where she worked directly with in-house counsel and learned how to best support corporate leaders in day-to-day legal operations.

Before law school, Abbey earned her finance degree from the University of Arkansas, enabling her to approach situations with a business-oriented perspective.
