Gray Reed Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy Partner Amber Carson has been selected as a 2025 Texas Lawyer “On the Rise” honoree, an award recognizing the state’s most promising lawyers under 40 for their innovation, leadership, and professional excellence.

Amber’s recognition highlights her growing influence in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters across Texas and nationwide. Known for her sharp analytical skills and ability to navigate high-stakes financial challenges, she represents debtors, creditors, trustees and committees in a wide range of industries including healthcare, energy, manufacturing and retail. Her clients and colleagues alike value her pragmatic approach, deep technical knowledge and steady leadership in high-pressure environments.

In addition to her practice, Amber plays an active role in advancing the bankruptcy bar. She currently serves as Chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section for the State Bar of Texas and as a Board member for the American Bankruptcy Institute.
